Hand-made Frames

Frames can be custom-made of plain or polished timber, oak, ash, birds-eye maple etc, and all sorts of finishes, including burnished gold-leaf, lacquer of any colour, distressed, antiqued etc, with hand-painted or cracked gesso mounts. Special profiles can be made to fit with particular mouldings in your rooms or any style you choose.

Perspex trays or cases can be made either for hanging on the wall or for standing to display objects of interest. Textiles, old parchment deeds or kimonos, for instance, are often presented in this way, not to mention medals, globes, cricket bats and balls and a variety of other unusual items.
